The Dr. Joseph Warren Chapter meets at 6:00 pm on the first Thursday in January, April, and October at Goldies BBQ located at 2430 S. Frontage Rd. I-20, in Vicksburg, MS.

     "Dr. Warren was a member of the first three provincial congresses held in Massachusetts (1774–75), president of the third, and an active member of the Massachusetts Committee of Public Safety." (1)

     "In 1775, Dr. Warren had been commissioned as a major general in the colony's militia shortly before the June 17, 1775 Battle of Bunker Hill but Warren chose to serve in the battle as a private soldier and was killed in combat." (2)

    Dr. Joseph Warren (1741-1775) was a Graduate of Harvard University and became a highly respected physician in Boston. With the passage of the Stamp Act of 1765, Dr. Warren's patriotism was sparked. He sent Paul Revere and William Dawes on thier famous ride to warn the local patriots that their British troops were coming.
